 DIVERSITY APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

The Diversity Apprenticeship Program (DAP) is an initiative by The Broad to create career opportunities for underrepresented communities in the museum field broadly and in the art handling and preparations world specifically. The initiative is made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). Together with partner institutions including Building Bridges Art Exchange, the DAP provides full-time, paid apprenticeships in preparation/art handling. Those selected receive 1-month of paid training and 8-months of hands-on work experience at partner sites across Los Angeles. Previous preparator or art handler experience is not required. Learn more and apply today at thebroad.org/dap.
