We are exiting to announce this annual traveling festival, established by Building Bridges Art Foundation in Los Angeles and the Museo Arte Al Limite in Chile, we are dedicated to showcasing video art focused on the relationship between humans vulnerable natural environments. Awarded videos will become part of the museum’s permanent collection in Chile, while the remaining works will be selected by diverse jurors for each edition of the festival.
Curatorial focus
The festival explores the relationship between humans and vulnerable natural environments.
It is named after the Pangue plant, a flower native to the region of South America
In Mapuche, Pangue represents the mountain lion and embodies values such as bravery, wisdom, strength, and energy.
The symbolism of Pangue is central to the festival, highlighting the strength and energy humans can exchange with nature.
It emphasizes the healing power of nature and how we can rebuild our connection with our planet.
